Here they are: a Cream Legbar baby (blue-green shell) at just three days after the start of incubation, and a Silver Double Laced Barnevelder at six days. I love watching them move around in there!
My wait list is already almost full for these babies! They are all fertile and developing well, but even if they fully develop into a chick ready to hatch, getting out of the egg can be a challenge for shipped eggs due to air cell disruptions when traveling. So, I'm hoping for the best but trying not to count them (or get too attached) just yet. Eleven days to go til we know for sure. In the meantime, is this not the most beautiful eggscape?
